Yamada from Germany has launched the HTV-200XU mini HiFi system that offers a new level of convergence, throwing in a 7″ color display which works great whenever you want to watch your DVDs, photos, and videos in private. The HTX-200XU supports a wide range of DVD, CD, MPEG 4 and DivX formats, featuring an analog TV tuner and an integrated FM tuner. You also get S-video, video, stereo, and digital coaxial line-out options when it comes to connectivity. I guess boomboxes featuring small LCD displays will be a common occurence these days as device manufacturers take up this idea. The Yamada HTV-200XU will retail for 220 Euros.
