Designer Yong Jieyu has cobbled together an image of the CD Phonograph, marrying the old and the not-so-new into a single device. All it takes is a disassembled CD player along with rearranged components to suit the layout of a phonograph. Speakers are located just below the trumpet loudspeaker for amplification purposes. While the CD Phonograph certainly gets top marks for effort, this is a case of being late to the party as everyone else has already moved on to portable audio players and the like.
