With more and more WiFi networks being set up on a daily basis, the consumers never had it better. In order to know whether you’re in a vicinity of a WiFi network without turning on your WiFi-enabled device, why not use the DigiWiFi detector instead? This $69.99 pocket-friendly device comes with a backlit LCD display, showing information such as signal strength, SSID, encryption status (WEP and WPA) and the current channel being used (1-14) of available WiFi networks. A trio of buttons are located just below the screen for easy navigation. Take note that the DigiWiFi detector does not recognize 802.11n networks yet.
