In the world of gadgets, it is pretty tough weaving both form and function into a single entity. Thankfully, we have concept designs that are limited not by the law of physics but imagination. The Multi Functional Hearing System certainly ups the ante when it comes to ergonomics and functionality, cramming in a telephone, audio recording capability and playback, orientation guidance, and the ability to make emergency calls into the form factor of a hearing aid. It looks set to operate wirelessly, so Bluetooth could be in the final equation as well. Alas, the Multi Functional Hearing System will remain but a dream unless a manufacturer is up to the task to release it commercially.
