At first glance, the Philips SA3100 digital audio player isn’t really something to shout about, but upon closer look at its specifications, one will realize that it supports SMV videos that most of the other players don’t. Other than this ability, the technical specifications are faily standard, ranging from the 1.8″ 65k color LCD display to its integrated FM radio, a voice recorder, and a photo viewer. Battery life is pretty poor at 10 hours for music and a mere 2 hours for video. Potential buyers will be soothed by the fact that the 1GB SA3114 and 2GB SA3124 aren’t hard hitting on your pocket, retailing for 70 and 100 Euros respectively.
