The Hilton Hotel chain have just dropped news that several rooms at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Hilton San Francisco will be fitted with high-tech gear to provide an experience that is similar to a home theatre. Known as Sight+Sound Rooms, these upgraded pads will feature 42″ plasma displays from LG, a Yamaha YSP-800 digital sound projector, high-definition TV programming from DirecTV, and an electronic programming guide and high definition menu system from LodgeNet. A special connectivity panel is also available for guests to plug in their iPods, laptops, digital cameras, and other compatible devices.
