It is a no brainer to finally see an MP3 player designed after a cellphone, taking some notes from slider handsets and ending up with the Slideon MP3 player concept. Ian Murchison’s brainchild hides all the controls under the geometric display – an aesthetically pleasing idea, but dedicated external control buttons would have been a much better idea. After all, most people prefer not to fiddle with levers, slides, and what-nots when it comes to their music, as getting straight to the point is much more important. Other features of the Slideon include flash-based memory and a battery which is recharged via its headphone jack.
