Bumblebee pumps out tunes

The Transformers movie looks set to be a hit or miss this summer, with detractors outnumbering supporters so far. No matter the box-office outcome, it is too much of a golden opportunity to let go when it comes to merchandise. Bumblebee has been turned into a speaker that caters to MP3 players, courtesy of Beatmix. Being a vehicle for sound output (pun not intended) isn’t the only talent Bumblebee has, as he can also dance, light up his eyes, and flap his doors in tandem to the current track. In addition, he will even sample tunes back to you with some classic Transformers’ sound effects thrown in for good measure. A quartet of AAA batteries power the Bumblebee speaker that retails for $59.95.
