i-Kiddo launches techy piggy banks

Saving money is a good virtue that all kids should learn, and i-Kiddo aims to make that habit fun by offering i-Panda and i-Piggy digiBanks that are smart enough to identify each coin placed inside, where the total value will then be displayed on the bank’s LCD display. Of course, this works with coins only so those who plan to stuff notes down won’t be able to get an accurate total. These electronic banks can also be programmed to include savings goals, playing musical tracks whenever any target is met. A special key comes with each purchase to prevent kids from pilfering the funds before the right time. The i-Kiddo range of electronic banks are smart enough to identify U.S. currency such as pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters despite being based in Taiwan.
