Bionic hand hits retail market

This highly functional bionic hand, invented by David Gow and built by Touch Bionics, has just been announced that it could be on the market for mass consumer purchase within the next two to five years at a yet undisclosed price. The technology has already been tested by a number of folks, where among them number US soldiers who lost their limbs in the current Iraq war. The bionic hand boasts bending fingers as though they were a natural extension of your own body, making it a cinch to pick up all sorts of objects without crushing the softer stuff such as styrofoam cups.
