There are currently two handheld consoles in the market that have a decent library of games – the DS Lite and the PSP. Gamepark’s GP2X F-200 handheld console could break the duopoly, although that would be an uphill task. It resembles a compressed white PSP and comes with equally similar controls. Features include a 3.5″ touchscreen display with 16 million color support at QVGA resolution, an SD memory card slot, and dual CPU cores that handle audio and video playback in addition to text and image file support. There is no word on pricing and availability as at press time, but we do know the GP2X F-200 can handle arcade and emulator games for a portable arcade cabinet experience.
