ViewSonic VX1940w LCD monitor

ViewSonic will be releasing the VX1940w LCD monitor later next month, and this unit will carry the honor of being the first widescreen 19″ LCD display in the world that combines 1,680 x 1,050 super high resolution with an ultra-fast response time of 2ms (gray-to-gray) as well as a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000 to 1. It targets gaming and multimedia enthusiasts with its performance figures, although those working at the office will definitely appreciate its desktop real estate. The ViewSonic VX1940w will come with a D-Sub connector, a DVI-D connector, and a 3.5mm headphone jack – it would’ve been nice to see ViewSonic throw in a couple of USB 2.0 ports though. Viewing angles are above average (H170°/V160°) while brightness of 300 nits makes it perfect for gaming, viewing DVDs, and working on standard PC applications.
