The WebDT 310 and 360 can lay claim to being the first mobile tablets in the world that features an integrated barcode scanner, a Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) and/or camera. Integration of those new hardware applications aims to improve customer service and data accuracy by capturing information from a barcode, magnetic stripe or camera automatically. This information will then be saved into commercial applications immediately, ready to be harvested and used in order to further analyze on how to capture a bigger slice of the market. The WebDT mobile tablets can be purchased with any combination of the mentioned hardware applications. It will be available in 8.4″ (WebDT 360) and 10.4″ (WebDT 310) models, powered by Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, CE .NET and Windows Tablet PC operating systems.
