GX-1 Duo hamburger speakers

[CES 2008] Walking around the CES showfloor makes one hungry fast, considering the frenetic pace which everything moves. Along comes a piece of hardware that makes the hungry…well, hungrier. The GX-1 Duo Capsule Speaker is a pocket-size speaker system shaped after a hamburgerthat comes with integrated bass support and a rechargeable battery, letting you blast your favorite tunes to share with your friends no matter where you are. The internal battery requires a 2 hours charge, where it can last anywhere from 4 to 6 hours of playback. When not in use, it can be compressed as shown above (closed speaker in white) for easy portability. It will be available in single or stereo options which retail for $14 and $20 respectively. Don’t expect high quality sound though, as I cranked up the iPod nano’s volume to the maximum, the GX-1 Duo started to crack. It would be nice to have an additional volume control on the GX-1 Duo instead of relying purely on your PMP/MP3 player’s volume.
