Gesture-controlled Robot

There is a new control system that helps a robot get around – using simple hand and body gestures. Engineer Tsuyoshi Horo at Tokyo University has developed this system which utilizes a circular array of cameras to detect human movements in the room, conveying them to the robot as an equivalent directional command. The system is smart enough to produce a real-time 3D volumetric model of folks and objects within the circle of cameras, so you get precise tracking movements. I wonder what would the robot do if you flip the cameras.
