
DT Research has rolled out a new tablet computer that is meant for use in vehicles such as forklifts and boats. It is equipped with the following features ;-
- 12″ touch screen display
- 120GB hard drive/64GB Solid State Storage
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 802.11a/b/g connectivity
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Optional UPS battery
It complies with MIL-STD-810F standards for shock and vibration protection, and also boasts IP 65 level of water and dust resistance. Sounds like the perfect hardcore computing tool to carry with you wherever you go, eh? The WebDT 520 will hit the streets this May, retailing from $2,600 upwards.
