IOGEAR has new Card Readers

IOGEAR continues to make an impact in the world of USB peripherals, offering two new memory card readers today – the 12-in-1 Pocket Card Reader/Writer and the 56-in-1 Memory Card Reader/Writer. Both of these are connected via USB 2.0, so you can expect a maximum transfer speed of 480Mbps, although real world performance will rarely (if ever) touch such altruistic levels. The former will retail for $12.95, and is compatible with SD, micoSD, Mini SD, MMC, Memory Stick and MS Duo memory card formats. It fits into most pockets easily thanks to the 2.5″ x 1″ dimensions. As for the shutterbug-oriented 56-in-1 Memory Card Reader/Writer, this $19.95 device is compatible with an even greater plethora of popular memory cards, doing away with the need for multiple adapters.
