Picwing Social Digital Photo Frame

Picwing is a new idea that merges both a social photo site with a digital photo frame. As long as you have an account, you will be able to allow other folks to view or even add photos to your digital photo frame. Uploading images are a snap as it will be sent via a specially assigned email address. These photos can be viewed on the site itself, on both Windows and Mac platforms as well as embedded onto various sites with a Chumby widget option to follow. The (supposed) main draw would be the ability to wirelessly send these photos to the digital photo frame from Picwing themselves. One major flaw would be the price issue – it costs a whopping $249 for a 7″ Picwing digital photo frame, which is way higher than other similar sized devices which are much cheaper ($100 to $200). What do you think of the Picwing – will it catch on?
