Freshly launched at IFA 2008, the Sony Bravia EX1 is an LCD TV that integrates wireless audio/video transmission to cut down on HDMI cables. On the photo, the picture is beamed from the box on the lower left of the TV to the display itself, but in the real world, one would probably find a better way to take advantage of the wireless feature. The Bravia EX1 will be available in at the end of the year in the following sizes: 40″, 46″ and 52″. It was designed for the European market and would probably show up there first.
