AMD’s latest ATI Radeon HD 4600 series surprisingly consumes very little power despite being able to deliver exceptional gaming and HD multimedia performance. To put it more succinctly, it sips less power than a standard light bulb when in use. This is definitely good news for gamers who have a heart for the environment and yet don’t want to compromise on their frame rates despite consuming large amounts of power each time their gaming rig is turned on. Would be interesting to see a computer processor this green follow suit though, and coupled with a low-powered hard drive/SSD, we have something worth looking at.
