Just in time for Halloween, this giant spider sculpture was designed for the Liverpool Bienniale by artist, architect, curator, and blogger Ai Weiwei. The network of webs is made out of steel cables, while the spider itself is a crystal studded sculpture with white LEDs strung all along the cables to resemble dew drops on the web whenever the sun is out. Would really be something if preserved human corpses in cocooned containers were placed all over the place for added effect.
