Gemalto claims to have released the first optical reader for online banking in the world that is as small as a credit card, letting customers carry it around all the time. This optical reader will be used with your bankcard, where the integrated optical sensor will then store information which are normally required such as mother’s name, full name and address among others in order to help save the user’s time. With a built-in keypad, it works great for authorizing online transactions as well. According to Gemalto, this device will work with the latest security standards line MasterCard CAP, Visa DPA, and German Sm@rt TAN without any hiccups.
