It is very interesting to see how fast HP is getting into low-cost computing. The Mini-Q is a Net PC that comes in the form of a mini-tower (monitor not included). I’m not sure that this is the best value ever (entry-level PCs are darn-cheap), but it is an interesting trend. Here are the specifications:
- Mini-Q 2030 ($386)
- Intel Atom Dual-Core 1.6Ghz
- 2GB of DDR2 RAM
- 160GB SATA hard-drive (7200rpm)
- Dual-Layer DVD-Burner
- windows Vista
- 4.4lbs
- Mini-Q 2020 ($296)
- Intel Atom Single-Core 1.6Ghz
- 1GB RAM
- Windows XP
