iPhone Robot Ambles Along

We’ve seen an iPhone hack that hooks it up to a physical keyboard before, and here’s another mod that loses the keyboard, but is able to move about on wheels. Apart from a jailbroken iPhone 3G that runs on Ruby code, it also features :-

• An Arduino processor
• A TA7291P motor
• Four AA batteries

The creator manages to control the robot via Wi-Fi from a nearby computer, recording whatever it sees for posterity. Not the most stealthiest of robots, but then again it isn’t supposed to be a mechanical spy.
