Boston-Power Sonata Battery Technology

Battery life is one of the main issues that portable electronics have to contend with these days, but it is nice to see leaps in technology help consumers obtain the maximum satisfaction from the gadgets despite the growing list of functions embedded with each new release. Boston-Power’s Sonata battery technology touts to offer like-new performance for up to a whopping three years, while taking a much shorter time to recharge compared to batteries that are in the market today. To make things more exciting, Boston-Power touts that its Sonata batteries are able to recharge to 80% of the full capacity in a mere half hour. HP is the first in line to use Sonata batteries starting from next year onwards. Of course, this still pales to Toshiba’s Super Charge ion Battery (SCiB) that we saw at CEATEC which hit a 90% charge in a mere 10 minutes!
