Dr. Dre is an old hand at rapping, and it is no surprise to see his name plastered on this new pair of Beats in-ear buds. According to the man himself, “they’ll deliver sound so big, you’ll think you’ve got speakers in your ears.” Well, if that is how it performs, forking out $150 for a pair doesn’t sound (no pun intended) so bad after all. What makes this pair of Dr. Dre Beats slightly different from other headsets are the tangle-free cables that use flattened wires, ensuring they don’t lock together in tight knots when you pack them. In addition, you get squishy coverings that block out sound for better enjoyment of your favorite track. Something worth considering if you listen to music throughout the entire day – casual listeners can give this a pass.
