Guess the Android platform is not limited to just T-Mobile’s G1 and its ilk, but has been made to run on an Asus Eee PC 1000H, although that does beg the question of “why?”. Two guys at VentureBeat found it a snap to get Android up and running on the Eee PC 1000H, even offering the support required for functional computing such as sound, graphics and even Wi-Fi connectivity. This isn’t a first though, as a Google developer did manage to get Android running on an Eee PC 701 a few weeks back. Does this mean the age of more affordable MIDs is about to dawn on us that runs on Android? Interesting times are ahead this year for Android, that’s as much as we can tell.
