Classic Transformers Watch Gets Re-release

Takara Tomy must be trying its luck to get rid of really, really old stock by re-releasing its classic Transformers watch. The Transformers Chrono Label is available in two versions -Cybertron Autoceptor and Destron Time Limit. These timepieces certainly look like relics of old, and if you get one for your kid to wear at school, chances are he will be laughed off the playground due to the old-school dot graphic that tells the current time. Well, if you secretly love all things Transformers and won’t mind getting one for your collection, you’d be pleased to know at least it lives up to its namesake, as the detachable timepiece can turn into a small transforming robot with a little bit of physical coaxing. They’re available for pre-order at $290.90 a pop – talk about daylight robbery!
