ConvenientPower Wireless Chargers Leaves No Tangles Behind

[CES 2009] ConvenientPower understands what many of us experience each day – getting our bevy of chargers all tangled up in a mess of wires. This is why they have decided to roll out wireless charging solutions for the iPhone 3G, Nintendo DS and BlackBerry Curve – where’s one for the Sony PSP? Dubbed the Dual Charger, this device relies on a patented “fountain” vertical flux inductive wireless charging technology that works in an extremely simple manner. For example, all you need to do is insert the iPhone 3G into a thin sleeve, place it onto the rubberized charging pad and let it recharge. Not only does the sleeve act as a conduit for power, it also keeps your device protected without restricting access. Similar sleeves are available for the Nintendo DS and BlackBerry Curve for use with its Dual Charger, allowing one to juice up a variety of devices simultaneously without getting involved in a wiry mess. This technology is safe to use as it has passed major international safety radiation and emissions standards, including FCC part 18, CISPR 11 or EN55011 Class B Group 2, CISPR 14 and EN50392. If you’re interested in picking one up, it will retail for $99 when they’re available this April across major U.S. retail stores.
