Fujitsu HandyDrive MMH2 UB Series

Fujitsu just announced its HandyDrive MMH2 UB series of external hard drives that have a speed of 5400 RPM and stays connected to the computer via USB 2.0. It will come in capacities ranging from 250GB to 320GB, 400GB and 500GB, and each of these 2.5″ hard drives remain protected thanks to a lightweight housing that won’t bog you down with its size, measuring 137.5mm x 83.5mm x 15mm. Each purchase also comes with the relevant support software that can be used to manage partitions or password lock the drives to prevent data theft in case of an emergency. Fujitsu goes green with the HandyDrive MMH2 UB series as well, as they consume up to 30% less power than its predecessors while reading/writing data, and as much as 35% when in stand-by mode. There is no word on priciing, although the HandyDrive MMH2 UB series will be out sometime this quarter. How many of your products are green at home, and do you intend to include that as a criteria when it comes to your future electronics purchases?
