Samsung shows a 6.5mm-thin TV

Last year, the battle over HDTV size ended and we entered a new era of thin displays. This will likely continue at CES 2009, with LG claiming that they have the thinnest TV (LG H95), at 24.6mm. It’s weird because Samsung showed thinner models a while back. But you know how marketing works: if you add enough conditions you always end-up being the best or the -est. Like having the thinnest HDTV – of the month, sitting on top of a pink TV stand, next to a Ferrari.

Anyway, Samsung will show a 6.5mm thick TV, but right now, we think that the TV tuner is not actually in there… Are we going to have a little base station next to it? Stay tuned and come back to this site all week next week for our coverage of CES!
