Amazon.com has just rolled out the beta version of their Game Downloads section this morning on an official basis, allowing gamers to sample from over 600 casual titles for less than $10 per digital download. Great, sounds as though more shovelware is being put on offer for the masses, hopefully the deluge of such games won’t be able to bury gems that are in the making or already in existence. It would be interesting to see just how many Amazon users are curious (and casual) enough to try out more than 600 titles to kill time. We say get a PSP or DS Lite instead if you’re hard up on being entertained.
