Option Brings 3G Worldwide With GlobeSurfer X.1

Option’s GlobeSurfer X.1 allows you to bring your 3G connection with you wherever you go, including sharing it with others if you’re feeling particularly generous on that day over Wi-Fi. The GlobeSurfer X.1 is able to turn any connected USB Broadband 3G/HSPA USB modem from virtually any carrier into a point where others are able to hop on the Internet bandwagon, connected at a theoretical data speed of 160Mbps – rest assured, real world performance is far from that but at least you know this has potential. There is no word on availability or pricing details as at press time, but if you’re at MWC ’09 in Barcelona, do check it out while it is still on display.
