Samsung Introduces New DVD Burners

Samsung has decided to find means and ways to get as much profit as possible after releasing dismal figures during the last quarter, and introducing new DVD burners won’t really help, but as long as it is profitable, we guess there is no need to stop this division. Samsung’s line of peripherals is now extended to include the SE-S084B series of external DVD-writers that will come in a range of colors. This tray-load drive will be able to play nice with 8cm or 12cm media, featuring burn speeds of up to 8X for DVD+R or 24X with CD-R. Other features include buffer underrun protection, 2MB memory, an automatic ball-balancing system, and a tilt actuator compensation. You will be able to pick up the SE-S084B series in black, white, silver, pink, blue, sky-blue and red colors for $80 a pop when available at a store near you.
