The Sims 3 will be back to sap the lives of millions around the globe yet again in its latest iteration, and in there realism will be upped by another notch as gamers can now custom-make and create their Sims and surroundings, while exploring neighborhoods and cities that they live in. Interestingly enough, it is set for an almost simultaneous release on the PC, Mac, the iPhone and the iPod touch platforms. This is a surprise as developers for many years have questioned the financial viability of releasing games on both PC and Mac platforms simultaneously, but it is nice to see EA taking up the challenge. We wonder how much dumbed down the iPhone and iPod touch versions will be, and will these fall under the premium games segment we talked about?
