Ultrasone has released yet another high end headphones in the form of the Edition 8. When equipped with their proprietary S-Logic Plus technology, it is touted to offer an “impartial acoustic feeling that allows the listener even more of a spacious tonal perception.” While we’re sure that audio connoisseurs will appreciate the subtle differences in audio quality compared to a standard pair of cans, most of the lay people will probably find the slight difference (if any) not worth the price difference. It will retail for a whopping $1,499 a pair, although they will come individually stamped and with a leather case for storage (and protection, of course). Not only that, the interior ear cups also come covered in fine Ethiopian sheepskin.
