Canon Rolls Out New Mobile Projectors

Canon has just announced a couple of mobile projectors for the Japan market – the LV7375 and the LV8300. Both models will arrive in the market today, with no word on whether either one will see action outside of the Land of the Rising Sun or not. They have been completely redesigned from ground up, and they do come with a carrying handle. The LV7375 will project video at 3,500 lumens and is equipped with a 7W mono speaker and a 230W lamp, has 1,024 × 768 resolution and a 500:1 contrast ratio. From 1.9m away, it is able to produce 60″ images. As for the LV8300, that model produces 3,000 lumens at 1,280 × 800 resolution, where a nearer 1.7m distance is able to produce 60″ images as well. The LV375 and LV8300 will retail for $3,700 and $3,200, respectively.
