Cocoon VR Headset Mimics Five Senses

University scientists across the UK have revealed a new special project – the Cocoon. This is a virtual reality headset that is said to mimic all five senses, offering users an experience that is virtually indistinguishable from the real world. How is that possible, you ask? After all, are machines capable of reproducing the nauseous smells of the rubbish dump downtown? While this could be a very potent educational tool, we wonder how it will be like when playing video games in this. Imagine beating Hugh Hefner by having Leisure Suit Larry (the entire series) updated to fit in High Definition graphics and full surround sound capability – makes us wish there is no longer any need to come back to the real world. The Virtual Cocoon will hopefully hit the market in three years’ time for approximately $2,000.
