iPod Controlled By Facial Gestures

Have we regressed to a society that’s so lazy, where fully able-bodied persons are able to control music on their iPod by using a wink, smile or a raised eyebrow? Guess so, but this technological advancement could also be used to help invalid people or those with limited movement to operate machinery if they want to. The device itself camouflages itself as a standard set of headphones, but is equipped with a whole bunch of infrared sensors that are able to measure tiny movements within ear resulting from different facial expressions. It would be interesting to see what other household gizmos you would like to see operated from this.
