M-Audio CX5 And CX8 Monitor Speakers

Want to pick up new monitor speakers that are placed pretty highly on the review charts? That’s where the CX5 and CX8 from M-Audio come in. These monitors will feature 5″ and 8″ drivers (no prizes for guessing which one has what based on their model numbers), sharing a wave guide as well as other unique features. They won’t come cheap though with the CX5 retailing for $399 while the CX8 is going for $499. At that price, you can get a decent 5.1 surround sound system from Logitech with some loose change to spare, so it really depends on the trade off that you’re willing to settle with.
