
So we’ve seen the SD card standard shrink to miniSD followed by microSD – will the same happen to HDMI cables? Apparently, Monster Cable is said to be developing an ultra thin HDMI cable which is able to transmit data at extremely high speeds, thanks to the chip technology within which is able to maintain a 10.2 GB/s data rate at its size. We’re pretty sure this will cost you a pretty penny considering the fact that it is Monster Cable-branded, no idea on just how thin it’ll be. Don’t think the average home user will appreciate something like this though.
