MySpace Launches App For Windows Mobile

[CTIA 09 Las Vegas] MySpace has a new application for Windows Mobile 6.1 phones and on Silverlight. The application will be presented at CTIA this week, on April 2nd at 1:30pm. The main social features from MySpace will be available from the application: “Talking to family, sending pictures and connecting with long-lost friends is important to our customers, and we are giving them the option to do that on the go by teaming up with MySpace,” said Stephanie Ferguson from Microsoft. This new MySpace for Windows Mobile 6.1 will be available later this summer directly on phones (LG is mentioned). It will also be downloadable from Windows Marketplace in the fall. It looks finger-friendly, so we assume that it’ll work just fine on WM 6.5 too.
