Nokia and Verizon will surprisingly get to work together on a new touchscreen device that will run on the upcoming 4G LTE network. Experience is the best teacher more often than not, and after seeing both parties’ financial books hurt by AT&T’s successful exclusive deal with the iPhone, both Nokia and Verizon hope to lead the charge where next generation wireless technology is concerned in an exclusive partnership. We have no idea on what this phone will be or look like, but it is encouraging to see the Finnish cell phone manufacturer do its best to stay ahead of the curve. A clear departure from the way Nokia does things as they normally don’t tie themselves down to just one carrier, but extraordinary times calls for extraordinary measures.
