Novatel Wireless has announced that it will be introducing the Ovation MC935D USB modem that will help you stay connected no matter where you are, targeting European networks with its single-band 2,100MHz support that provides a theoretical peak download speed of 7.2Mbps and upload speed of 5.76Mbps, although we do know well enough that those are just marketing figures and real life performance will offer but a fraction of what is actually possible in a perfect world. Just in case you are in an area where there is no 3G connectivity, the MC935D will always fall back onto EDGE/GPRS networks for global data access. It measures a mere 0.4″ thin, making it extremely portable and will be released sometime in the second quarter of the year without any pricing details announced.
