Strange to see how Chinese clone manufacturers don’t seem to be too discerning with their range these days – the Toshiba TG01 isn’t exactly a trailblazer around the world, and yet it was picked out of hundreds upon hundreds of handsets to be transformed into a portable media player (PMP) instead, known as the JXD318. You will notice the 3″ display is a far cry from the TG01′s 4.1″ size, and there won’t be any capacitive touchscreen as you will have to find your way around using buttons. Other functions found on the JXD318 include TV in/out and 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture capability. We have no idea on how much this will cost though, nor which part of the world it will be released.
