Fireplaces were once created to be functional and that’s that. Humans, however, always want something better and hence ushering in the new era of designer fireplaces that are used whenever the mercury drops to levels which you cannot bear even with three layers of clothing over. Blomus of Germany have come up with the Vidro fireplace that looks simply stunning, finding a place in virtually any and every home as it is constructed fro glass and stainless steel. Fuelled by gelled ethanol, the Vidro will retail between $969 and $1,174, although you can settle for a smaller 22″ version if your home is small and cosy.
