Fujitsu has come up with a new energy efficient desktop PC that targets the office environment without hurting nature more than it should. What makes this new desktop special from the rest is its industry-leading energy efficiency of 24W, and when coupled with the use of power-saving LCD displays, power requirements can be further reduced by another 30% or so. These desktops will run on energy-efficient processors and come coupled with power switch that turns off power completely – doing away with power consumption whenever it enters a standby mode. No idea on how much it will cost nor has Fujitsu released further details concerning the desktop PC, so we’ll just have to wait.
