Just when you thought that the Xbox 360 is out of the woods now where suffering from the Red Ring of Death is concerned, along comes a new problem with their new hardware – the dreaded E74 error. This system error warning means your machine is fried, although it won’t display the iconic red rings, which is why Microsoft has taken the right move by extending the warranty for the fault, which is a similar move back in the days where red rings were as commonplace as DS Lites on a train in Tokyo. Another piece of good news is Microsoft having a heart for folks who have suffered from an E74 previously, where those who paid for repairs can claim a refund which will take anywhere from 1 to 3 months to arrive in your mailbox.
