QB1 Robot Draws You In With Meaningful Interaction

Robots are still a long way off from holding a meaningful and engaging conversation with us humans, but the Swiss-developed QB1 robot ditches its looks (which can be amended later of course) for its ability to entice ordinary folk into a more meaningful communications level, and it does so by offering a useful music-suggestion service. This move offers benefits both ways as the robot will be continuously exposed to data stemming from actual human interaction. This is in line with what Frederic Kaplan, CEO and co-founder of QB1 developer OZWE said, “artificial intelligence systems need to learn in the real world, from real people. You cannot program them with knowledge from the real world.”
