Japan and robots often go down well together, after all, aren’t they the ones who introduced Voltron and its ilk to the world? French performance art group La Machine decided to pay back the favor by taking part in Expo Y150 and bringing two giant robotic spiders to Yokohama to mark the 150th anniversary of the opening of the city’s port. These huge steampunk spiders can be caught prowling the Yokohama waterfront if you were around over the weekend. We doubt that there’d be any flies within a 1 mile radius of these huge monsters.
